Yes, so studio has been interesting. It seems that I am doing ok, I cant wait for Italy. It seems so close, but so far away, 11 weeks to be exact. I am going to miss the people back at home, especially my mom and Abacus. I have decided that this semester I needed to turn to faith. It has helped me a lot, to relax and think better. I cant wait until thanksgiving to see everyone again. I really dont want to go back to the beav over winter break, but I dont think that I have much of a choice going to Italy and all. My favorite are the people who come in and think that my life job is a cashier at busy beaver, whatever (as if). hehe Time to get back to my project, we have juries on Wednesday...wish me luck, this could mean the difference between and A and a B!

P.S. I leave you with this song by Kutless....good stuff.....Cleveland 11.5.05

I see the city lights all around me
Everyone's obscure
Ten million people each with their problems
Why should anyone care

And in Your eyes I can see
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Sometimes my life it feels so trivial
Immersed in the greatness of space
Yet somehow you still find the time for me
It's then You show me Your love

And In Your eyes I can see
And in Your arms I will be
I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

If only my one heart
Was all you'd gain from all it cost
Well I know you would have still been a man
With a reason
To willingly offer your life

I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Just one in a million faces

School

Well, school has been interesting thus far. I have gone out at least once a weekend this year, not that it is any easier, I have just decided to make the time to do so. I have had this blog for so long, but this is only my fourth entry, i'm either very lazy or people better start to understand how busy I really am. I should be doing my studio project right now, did I mention that studio is AMAZING this semester, and next semester there is ITALY!!!! I hope I dont drop before then, I would cry. I am excited because I have become a lot closer to studio people this year so I have people to go out with. Love you girls! I still, as always miss my friends at home, but I get to see Jess and Sarah this weekend, the only one missing is El (hope you are having fun in NY). Anyways, back to work. TTFN, haha.

Summer fun

My goodness I am going to miss my friends when I go back to school. I have had so much fun this summer, hanging out with everyone, working with Ellie, and having my internship. Since I wasnt home last summer, I didnt know what I was missing, but I love my friends so much. I also really want to see the people from school that I havent gotten a chance to talk to or hang out with in a while. I feel bad because there are so many people that I want to hang out with, like Annie and Lysi and it seems like I never have any time. I guess that is all for now, time to go and finish packing. I love you guys and I am going to miss you this year. Rachel, have fun in England! Love you all, Leanne

One Crazy Night

Ok, so maybe it wasn't so crazy, but I did have a lot of fun. So yeah, last night, right after my last post, Laura asked me if I wanted to go to a party with her, Tori, and a couple of other people. It was a blast. I finally got to meet some upperclassmen, well archies anyway. I didnt have too much to drink because I was driving people around, which I liked, seeing as how I never get to drive because Ben has a stick and I can't drive it, well sort of. Today we went to the Cleveland Library where I learned that A) Cleveland is just as broke as Pittsburgh and B) I cant get a library card because I am out of state, which really sucks. However, I got the books that I needed, and I am on my way to writing one terrific paper, or at least I hope so. Ok, I am really tired and I need to get this paper done tomorrow, so I will retire to Ben's bed, and say goodnight all.

First Entry

Well, this is my first official entry. Quite nice site, very clean, hehe. I should be writing my Architecture History paper right now, but I am procrastinating in a big way. I figure, it is only 1000 words on a solar house, and solar house technology, no problem. I'm sure I will be frustrated on Sunday night when I haven't started yet. I also have an exterior perspective on my Artist In Residence building to do by Tuesday. I dont know how they expect me to make it artistic when I have never done a perspective before, but I hope I can do it well so I get an A. Three more weeks of school, well, two weeks and then the finals from hell. Building Structures is kicking my butt big time, I just cant wait to be home and see all of my friends finally. I am so tired, all I want to do is get some sleep... and a job so I can pay for Florence, assuming that I go. Alright thats enough, my paper calls!
